T-CARE therapy 

T care therapy or TECAR (Tranferencia Electica CApacitiva Resistiva)therapy is a modality that was developed in Spain and is a form of deep tissue thermotherapy.  T-CARE therapy transmits high-frequency electromagnetic energy to the desired tissue in two modes, capacitive mode and resistive mode.  Capacitive mode affects tissues with higher electrolytic content such as soft tissues and muscles, while resistive mode affects tissues with higher resistance which are joints, bones, and tendons. Indication for use of T-care includes, acute or chronic injuries, inflammation, muscle spasms, joint pain, synovitis, tendinopathy, osteoarthritis, low back pain and post operative tissue recovery.
